Staying Active with the Boys + JCPenney Sweepstakes

It’s fall! For us in the desert that means more outside activities and getting active more with the whole family. I’m always concerned about staying comfortable and being able to move around without worrying about my clothes. It’s definitely a bonus if they look good too 😉

In preparation for more long bike rides, dog walks and family games of football or tag, I decided to get everyone some new activewear from JCPenney. They have a great selection of brands and styles for my husband, the boys, and me!

These pants from Xersion are seriously my new favorite. They aren’t tight but aren’t baggy either, have zippered pockets to hold keys and my phone and are so darn comfortable! I love that they can go from working out to running errands.

The tee also from Xersion is just the right length to not worry about it riding up when I’m in the action and oh so comfortable!

The boys are all about the joggers so they both got a new pair also from Xersion. I think these are going to get tons of use this Fall/Winter. My goal is to say “yes” more when they ask to throw the ball or ride bikes. It’s good for us not only physically, but relationally as well. Nighttime dog walks are the best time for conversations about life. We talk about so much walking/jogging around the neighborhood or out into the desert.

My husband loves Nike shorts so we added a new pair to his collection.

I tend to forget what a great selection JCPenney has so I’m so glad I checked them out when we needed some new activewear. I spotted a few more pieces I might have to go back for! I won’t have to go back for these new Nike shoes I bought though. I’ve been looking for a black pair and loved the fit of these ones.

Chance approves. I hope we can make this the most active year yet. We’re already off to a great start with all the travel we’ve been doing. I think these pants might become a regular in my wardrobe rotation though, especially for travel!
