We’re sharing our #AFTBYearofAdventure with #LISTERINE as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™ #BringOutTheBold

I have to say, as someone who is not the most coordinated person on earth, the thought of walking the red carpet for The BFG premiere with hundreds of people watching and taking photos was a little intimidating. For example, just last night I tripped on nothing and gave myself a good gash on my shin from the corner of the bed. I had just made up in my mind that I was going to trip at some point so that I wasn’t too upset with myself when I did lol! I’d say this was definitely a situation where I was going to need to Bring Out the Bold in a different way than I’m used to!

I love taking chances and going on adventures with things like roller coasters, surfing, jumping off a waterfall…

But being in front of the camera and/or having to walk without tripping is another story. Obviously I wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity, so I brought out the bold and did it with confidence! I’m happy to share that I did not trip or embarrass myself (unless some video comes out of me looking like a dope) on my first trip across the red carpet.

In fact, I had SO much fun. Confidence is key right?! Fake it till you make it 😉 I thought it might be fun to share what I decided to throw into my red carpet bag. I took a smaller bag so that I wasn’t lugging around everything I own and really thought out what went in it. I’d have to carry it on the red carpet and in the pre-party so I didn’t want to have a lot with me. Trust me, I wanted to bring everything “just in case”.

Here’s proof that I did not stuff the bag full! I actually bought this bag on Amazon (info on what I wore here) and had it shipped to my hotel room because I wasn’t even thinking about the fact that I didn’t have a clutch. Oops!

Honestly, the first thing I put in the bag was a pack of  LISTERINE Pocketpaks®. I love these things! They’re super portable, convenient and you don’t have to walk around smacking gum (or accidentally choke on gum which was totally a possibility in my head at this moment). You buy them in these packs but they pop out into these tiny little packs that are perfect to throw in any bag.

Obviously my phone was needed but I also brought my big portable charger and cord that can fully charge my phone more than once. I didn’t know how much I was going to video or live stream so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of power.

I also brought my lipstick, bobby pins, sunglasses and business cards. Every once in a while I’ll get into a conversation with someone about what I do and I almost always get asked for a card so they don’t have to remember the websites so I try to keep them on hand just in case!

I’m SO glad I had these LISTERINE Pocketpaks® though because at the pre-party I got a salad and put on WAY too much balsamic vinaigrette. Onion breath is definitely not good. They’re also great for plane travel. My mouth always gets so dry and gross on the plane so I always pop one of these in after I land.

I didn’t bring much (I wanted to bring all the makeup and medicine and bandaids and everything else) but I used everything I did bring and didn’t end up needing anything else so it was perfect!
