It’s the time of year when the holidays start creeping up on us and you might find yourself scrambling for a costume last minute for a party or other event. Well I have some easy (and funny) DIY costumes for you!
Last year my oldest dressed up as a stick figure and he got a ton of comments on it. Some white clothes, electrical tape, a paper plate, markers and some string is all you need.
I love Charlie Brown and I love how easy it is to pull together this costume
If you’re a fan of funny costumes or costumes that strike a conversation how about an aircraft carrier?
or the 7 Seas?!
or my favorite – a ceiling fan! You could play this one up with more fan apparel. Once he “got” it this was my almost 11 year olds favorite too.
I hope these have helped kick start your imagination! When you have come up with your perfect DIY costume check out Hub Network’s 1st Annual Halloween Bash Costume Contest!
One winner from each state will be flown to Los Angeles to appear in The Hub’s First Annual Halloween Bash and have the chance to win $25,000! How cool is that?! Contest registration is open until 9/29/13. Costumes entered into the competition MUST be completely unique and one-of a kind. Store-bought, pre-made costumes are not allowed. Visit hubworld.com/halloween for full contest details.
I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this year!
