I’ve really been wanting to make this but just haven’t gotten around to it. Well in my blog reader the cutest little photos popped up from Crystal of Little Bit Funky who did the same project.
Do you remember these things? Melty Beads?
We have balloons laying around from our other projects so why not put them to good use right?! Enter Water Bottle Launchers!

It is Fort Friday already? I guess having a 3 day weekend really does make the week go by faster!
I love building with popsicle sticks so thought it would be fun to get some popsicle stick fort inspiration today.
I love these popsicle stick projects from Martha Stewart
We’ve been extra hot here in Phoenix. Towards the end of the summer when everyone starts talking about cool evenings and signs of Fall we start to think about cooler weather as well. For us that means a trip to the beach!
I’ve seen so many fun projects/activities around the web lately I just can’t keep them to myself. “So much time so little to do – strike that, reverse it” (name that movie!)
Shadow Puppets from the always inspiring Ambrosia Girl
How about a DIY fort/tent for Legos?
I loved this little craft from Jennifer at Ambrosia Girl and begged her to tell me how she did it and to let me share it here. Luckily I didn’t have to beg too much!

When I read this post from Jennifer at Big D and Me I immediately emailed her and asked her if I could share this quote from “My Life as a Red Furry Monster” by Kevin Clash.
p>My boys are fans of the show Phineas and Ferb. I admit that I think it’s pretty cute myself. Being an older sister I can relate a little to Candice! Anyway if you haven’t seen the show, Perry is a pet platypus who is actually a secret agent (Agent P). I pinned this tutorial on Pinterest a while back and the boys made their own Perry’s out of a plastic water bottle, forks (leftover from the Harry Potter Party), masking tape, cardboard from a cereal box, markers, and googly eyes.

So the big crafting plans I had for this changed a bit when the boys got involved (isn’t that how it always works?!) I figured we’d use these boxes for something so the boys and I came up with making a house which then turned into a Lego Spy Headquarters. When I asked why a Lego spy headquarters wouldn’t be made out of Legos I got an exasperated look and “Mom, if it was made out of Lego’s the bad guys would know it was a spy headquarters”. He has a point!
