My oldest came to me wanting to make these. I’ll warn you that the making of them (especially if your kids are doing it) is a bit messy but messy is fun right?!
I’ve seen many ways to make them but the King of Random’s tutorial (on YouTube) was our favorite and yielded the best results.
A couple of notes – we used rice flour because of allergies but I’m sure cornstarch or any floury substance would work well. Don’t skip the step about massaging the air out of the balloon. It’s messy but necessary for a good end result. Also, I’d recommend using 4 or more balloons (he says at least 3) and doing the superglue step. My boys are hard on them and I’m just waiting for one to burst all over the floor (hasn’t happened yet knock on wood).
These make great juggling balls! We’re practicing with 2 first before adding in a 3rd – that might be a while lol!
