Ideas for keeping kids busy in the back seat (or on the airplane) while traveling is something that almost every parent struggles with at some point. I have always tried hard to come up with fun (but inexpensive) ways to make the fun last while traveling. This simple DIY travel activity box is easy to make, but has a lot of variation for use thanks to some Scotch® Duct Tape!

DIY Travel Activity BoxTo start, find a leftover box or tray (like a cookie sheet or baking tin) to use. I found a box with a lid so it could double as storage as well.

DIY travel activity boxI love that the new Scotch® Chalkboard Tape has a backing so it’s super simple to cut to size. Cut and place the Chalkboard Tape on the bottom of the box or tray.

DIY travel activity boxSince this box has a lid, I added some dry erase tape to the top for extra travel activity options.

I am proud to be a 3M- sponsored blogger, and, as part of my responsibilities, I get the opportunity to evaluate products from Scotch® Duct Tape. Opinions are my own and additional product used in the project were selected by me.
