I’ve never been a pink/purple/red person. As a kid cerulean was my favorite crayon color (along with teal and blue green). Since Valentine’s Day is usually all about the pinks and reds we thought we’d make our own Valentine color scheme with some fun DIY conversation heart balloons we could hand out just to make people smile!
I’ve used Balloon Time helium tanks numerous times. I love being able to inflate balloons at home and not wrestle with getting them into the car! Plus it’s fun to have on had to make up balloons to go with gifts or to attach to a present. Balloons just make everything better and always elicit a smile!
We picked up a tank and some non-traditional colored heart balloons at a local party store. I LOVE this combo of colors!
I loved this idea I saw on the Balloon Time site but didn’t have any tattoo paper on hand. I did have some sticker paper though!
The paper was clear(ish) so the simple text emojis worked best when cut out.
We all loved the smilies the best I think!
Either way, these are super simple and a great last minute Valentine (or anytime) idea. I like attaching a few balloons to a gift or gift card for parties.
We plan on handing these out when we’re out and about for Valentine’s Day just because!
