Disclosure: We were sent a fun hostess gifts and products to host our own #disneyside party but were not required to share anything. All opinions, ideas and love of Disney is 100% our own.

We LOVE Disney and have been loving all the inspiration, ads and photos using the #disneyside hashtag. We were offered a fun hostess package to host our own #disneyside @ home celebration but we decided to take our Disneyside in a different direction.

The thing I love most about going to Disneyland is that magical feeling when you first walk down Main Street. The excitement, happiness, everyone is getting along and just that magical feeling. I wish I could bottle it up. I wanted to re-create that feeling at home with an outdoor dinner party with friends/family. Afterall, sitting under twinkly lights in the perfect weather with people you love IS pretty magical.

I also wanted to keep it simple while still making it seem really special. I made up these utensil holders with a different Walt Disney inspiring quote on each one. It was fun to read off our quotes and pick our favorites. Some were just what we needed to hear.

A big bonus to doing a dinner party at home is your own food especially when there are several food allergies in the group!

There was lots of positive conversation, good food and Mickey brownies!

The hostess gift included lots of fun Mickey party supplies that we’re going to give to a family we know could use them and who LOVES Mickey as well. My oldest is obsessed and smokes me at Disney trivia all the time.

One of the things I made for guests to leave with is a fun little box filled with conversation starters – perfect for dinnertime or long road trips.

That first one is from Table Topics – it was too perfect not to include!

I made a 30 question printable just for you! You could use them for your own gift (I like to print them on cardstock) or just pull them up on the computer when you sit down for dinner.

I love these to strike up fun conversations and my kids usually end up loving stories from our childhoods.

Disney even has a Disney Side Celebrations site to give you lots of inspiration to have your own #disneyside party!
