I have LOTS of better things to do than run errands on the weekends. Things like swimming, traveling, catching up on my favorite show, spending time with the boys, collecting crabs on the beach… Anyone with me?

Speaking of the beach, on our last trip the boys kept finding these red crabs all over San Clemente beach. Ever since they were little they’ve always asked if they could take one home and of course I had to be the “mean mom” and tell them no. This time I had an idea so we got a picture of one.
When we got home (or to my moms) I ordered a print of the little guy. I had an empty glass jar, some sand the photo and some scissors.
We cut out the crab,
added sand to the jar,
Placed the crab in the jar, shut the lid and named him Sebastian.
The perfect, mess free pet in a jar. That doesn’t stink. Or die in a day.
