Who is excited for MARVEL’S The Avengers: Age of Ultron?! We can’t WAIT for May 1st to finally see it! I always love “catching” up when a new film comes out so we pulled together a fun outdoor movie marathon party to do just that. Being outdoors allowed the kids to run around and play while the adults could just relax and watch the movies on the patio!
To keep the kids busy I came up with some games they could play. We went with some traditional back yard games with an Avengers twist! This washer toss is made with just some inexpensive bowls and plastic cups from Walmart (cut down) and glued inside!
I found all the little icons from Doodle Craft blog but you could make up your own too, or just use colors!
A cozy throw makes for a perfect large scale “tic tac toe” game with Hawkeye and Black Widow pieces.
I also found thisMARVEL’S The Avengers blanket while shopping at Walmart and used it for the kids to lay down (haha! Yeah right!) or wrestle around as well as a spot for all the Avengers dress up gear to live.
We even made up some freezer paper stencil pillowcases!
A ladder game was made themed with some vinyl!
I think dressing up was the most fun though!
Then the kids got to protect the adults from the “bad guy” balloons.
Some new MARVEL’S The Avengers Disney Infinity characters made for a fun break in between movies!
And we can’t forget about movie snacks! We spotted someMARVEL’S The Avengers: Age of Ultron themed Dr. Pepper, Cheez-It baked snack crackers, Doritos and Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks at our local Walmart. It made it easy to grab a few snacks I knew our guests would like.
I made up some popcorn, had mix ins along with some celery in peanut butter and some fruit!
It was SUCH a fun day/night and I’ll definitely be doing movie marathons this way again. Kids hardly sit still through one movie so this made it easy for the adults to catch up on some MARVEL films (we saw Iron Man 3, Captain America: Winter Soldier and the original MARVEL’S The Avengers) while the kids had a great time together!
Do you plan on catching up on your films before MARVEL’S The Avengers: Age of Ultron comes out?!

LOVED it! The boys had SO MUCH FUN!
Oh that all looks so gorgeous. We watched Guardians of the Galaxy again at the weekend and it was so good. Aren’t we lucky to be the mothers of boys?
What a GORGEOUS outdoor party! I love the simple line of balloons as the decor, and all of the fun games are a great touch too! My eldest and I watched all of the movies over the course of the last month and we watched Age of Ultron last night! We loved it! #client
