We have a new paper plane for you to learn today! This one has its own landing gear.
Start with a standard 8.5″x11″ sheet of paper. Fold one corner down like so
Open up and do the same to the other corner
Open back up again and turn the paper over (we also turned it upside down)
Take the bottom and fold it up until the end of the paper meets the end of the first folds you made. Open back up, turn over with the folds again at the top.
Press in the center of the folds so the paper pops up.
Fold the paper into a triangle along your previous folds
Fold the top point of the triangle down to the bottom of the triangle. Take the outside point and fold it into the center meeting the point you just folded down.
Do the same to the other side, then turn over.
Fold the entire plane in half. Fold it back the other way about 1/2″ in (you’re creating the hand hold here)
Make a small fold on the edge of the wing. Turn over and repeat the last couple steps for the other side.
Now you can see the plane shape
Turn over and pull out the landing gear.
