It’s back-to-school time which means… new clothes! My boys are pretty different when it comes to their clothing choices and styles, we’ve found lately though, that JCPenney has a great selection for both of them and at some great prices!
My oldest is very much a comfort kind of guy. He loves soft fabrics and graphic tees. He LOVES checking out the graphic tee selection at JCPenney anytime we visit.
It’s such an easy way to express your personality and interests when you’re a tween or teen boy (WHY is he almost a teen?!). Plus, they have a GREAT selection of Star Wars tees and I KNOW there are lots of you with Star Wars fans!
My youngest, on the other hand, loves to #bendthetrend (a fun social media campaign JCPenney is doing) and mixes and matches styles often to show off his personality.
He is ALL about the jogger pants this year. I think we bought 3 pairs. He’s loving this style and I love that he feels like he can express his personality through whatever clothing makes him feel confident. I’ve always encouraged them to try on new things and see what they like. This time he went crazy for a new style, lol!
We’ve always loved the Arizona brand for him. They use great fabrics and make one of the only jeans that actually fit his slim frame well.
They have a great selection of action sports brands as well. He loves Vans (shoes and clothing) so was happy to add some new accessories to his collection. 😉
Both of my boys love to layer in the fall no matter what style they’re leaning towards at the time. Flannels are always a popular choice!
One thing I have instilled in my boys even before going to school is to be kind. I think it is one of the most important things I can teach my boys so we’ll be participating in National #ShoutOutDay on August 12th! This Back-to-School season, JCPenney is starting a shout-out movement in hopes of bending the trend of judgement towards one of positive reinforcement. We’ll be sending #shoutout messages to lots of friends and family and I hope you will too!
Do your kids have a “style” or do they mix and match it a bit like mine? You can help them get lots of inspiration from JCPenney on Facebook / Twitter / Pinterest / Instagram / YouTube / Google+ / We Heart It / Polyvore.

I love little jumpsuits that are all over the place now, in soft fabrics and fun details.
I love layering shirts on my boys, although they don’t share that love, especially in the hot months here in AZ…
Ava usually gravitates towards anything pink and sparkly! But this year it’s uniforms for us for school, good thing JCP has that covered as well! 🙂
We need to stock up on basics and comfy clothes for my guy!
My son loves graphic tees and my daughter mixes and matches anything she can find with sparkles and bright colors.

Getting my son his favorite clothes and he loves the outfits we got this year. His favorite is the Nike hoodie with a numbered Sport shirt from his favorite team, and stone washed jeans, and a pair of Nike Mogan Mid 2 Jr. Skate Shoes because he loves skateboarding.

My son is definitely a “comfort” kind of kid. Tees, jeans, and “swishy” pants is what he prefers!
I love the “rockstar” type clothes for kids such as leather and jean jackets. I also like leggings for girls.
Ohhh…we need the Jurassic World tee for non-uniform days!

My 7 year old son loves t-shirts and comfortable pants and shorts. My three daughters love mix and match to their own personal styles as long as there is lots of color and cuteness, and sparkles if it’s for my 5 year old!

Sport shirt, jeans and backpack.
My son is loving everything camouflage this year; he has two tshirts, sweat pants, and a long sleeve with the print on the arms. I had him try on the jogger pants because they do look comfortable and he doesn’t have to worry about his pant hem dragging on the ground…we just couldn’t find a pair that fit him in the waist.
trends…anything comfortable and won’t fall apart!! 🙂

I have two boys as well! For them I’m really loving the aztec and geometrical design shirts. I love the way joggers look but I haven’t convinced my boys yet!!
