Disclosure: Parker is receiving complimentary treatment but, as usual, opinions here and expressed in the comments are 100% our own.
One of the things that I didn’t realize when we started Invisalign® treatment is that you could experience up to 50% faster treatment times than with traditional braces. HALF THE TIME?! Heck even a few months would make any teen happy. So how is it going over here? Check this out. This was Parker’s smile just TWO months ago (which admittedly was a few weeks after he started treatment):
and here is his smile today almost exactly two months later.
Crazy right?! Both of these photos are without his aligner in so you could see how crazy the difference is. Two months. I guess with proprietary innovations, such as SmartTrackTMmaterial, Invisalign can provide more predictable movements while making shorter treatment times possible.
He changes aligners weekly and has had no issues or pain since our last post. We couldn’t be happier with the treatment so far. I will definitely be going this route for Colton’s second round of treatment (he had traditional braces first).
Parker just went to take photos for his high school i.d. card and wasn’t self conscious about his smile at all. In fact I had to ask him if he wanted to take out his Invisalign aligners or not. He didn’t really care but ended up taking them off just in case. I can’t tell you how much I love that he has that option. You definitely cannot take your braces off for a photo when going the traditional route.
Obviously everyone’s situation is different so you’d have to check with your local Invisalign doctor (find yours here) to see what your treatment timespan might look like. We’re seeing Dr. Feldman in Surprise or Scottsdale.
Can you believe that difference in just three months?! Definitely faster than traditional braces from the experience in this house!
How much does it cost.
Hi Brenda! I think it depends on a lot of factors so you’d definitely have to check with an Invisalign provider in your area. You can find one here – https://www.invisalign.com/find-a-doctor?utm_campaign=mab&utm_medium=blog&utm_source=allfortheboys
