I had big plans to do this with the boys and post it here but party plans are getting in the way so instead I’ll just share and hopefully show our posts later.
I found this Hammered Flower and Leaf Print tutorial from Build/Make/Craft/Bake.
The short version is gather flowers/leaves (on a nature walk?) spread them out on textured paper (like watercolor paper) and cover with a paper towel.
Hammer away!
Peel off
And you have a fun print!
Go to the Build/Make/Craft/Bake blog to see the full tutorial. So fun!

I think my 8 year old daughter and my 2 year old son would love this activity! Its so hard to find things they both can do together, I'm looking forward to trying this out! Thanks!
You can hammer flowers and leaves onto a white cotton pillowcase, too…. just "set" the color into the fabric afterwards by soaking it in an icy saltwater solution.
very nice thank you so much =)
What a great idea. Now I just have to find some interesting leaves on my walk. Thanks for sharing.
