It is NO secret that we are BIG movie fans over here. We love the experience of going to the movies with the family and we definitely have our favorite places to do that. Our favorite local theater is Alamo Drafthouse Phoenix (and they were our favorite before we partnered up on this fun giveaway). It’s SUCH a great environment for watching movies and having a great dinner all in one place. The staff is fantastic, they are great with families, and they really help families develop a love of film.
Alamo Drafthouse has great seats, fun menus (with really good food) and great drinks too! The boys’ favorites are the loaded fries and the Royale with Cheese Burger.
We’ve seen many movies at our local Alamo Drafthouse here in Phoenix, from new movies to old favorites at movie parties. Parker even got to see his very first screening in 35mm here and he LOVED it. They have some great kids camp films too where you can pick your price of $1, $3, or $5 per ticket with the sales donated to local charities! Check out the website for more details on those!
If you’ve never been, you definitely need to check it out. It’s worth a drive if you’re on the other side of town! We are going to Phoenix for Christmas and have been there several times, but have never been to this theater! We love to try it out!
I’ve yet to visit the Alamo Drafthouse but I’ve wanted to check it out! My littles have a LIST of movies they want to see over break and I actually want to see each one just as bad!
We absolutely love the Alamo! It’s my most favorite date night and during the day, best movie experience with children! The Chandler theater is close to us and we would love to visit during the holiday break.
