Do you have these at your house? My boys especially when they were younger loved these little things. I was sure to find an animal or two at the bottom of my purse at any given time a few years back. I’ve seen some great ideas on using these if yours aren’t getting much use (or even if they are). So I thought I’d share some of my favorites!
I think my #1 is these animal communicators from Family Chic
Use them for storage (from House to Home)
or make some magnets (from Stephanie Mantis)
or make some candle holders for an animal lover (from The Sweet Occasion)
Or animal photo stands from Photojojo
This dino planter is pretty cute (made with a larger plastic animal) from The Thrillz of Hillz
Here are some dinosaur bookends from Sharon Pakir
or even a simple terrarium (from Harpers Happenings)
Have you ever made anything out of your kids’ toys?

Oh my GOODNESS; we have hundreds of these. I cannot possibly comprehend how we accumulated so many, but my son LOVES them. I can't wait to implement these adorable ideas. Thanks for the awesome round-up!
So funny, I commented on this at the exact same time that you commented on my post this morning but obviously I forgot to enter the captcha. Anyhow, I think it went something like this: These are the cutest ideas! I especially love the magnets. We have a box full of plastic animals that the boys take out when they are "grounded" from LEGOs. 😉
These are awesome ideas–the first one seriously has me cracking up!
This is such an ingenious idea. I especially love the color coordinated mason jars, man! I wish I'd had the attention span to make my own as a kid!

I have also seen them severed and mounted on a board (hunting trophy style) to the wall and used as coat hooks. I have been meaning to get to this project for a few months! Might need the jars too…
I love the magnets and candle holder idea. B still loves his, but I have wondered what we will do with them in a few years. It makes me sad to think about how fast the time will come that he no longer talks about and plays with animals constantly.
This is such a cute and clever post, I love all of these ideas. I definitely want to try the, well shoot, all of them!
