Happy 30th Birthday Mario! I grew up finding secret 1-UPS and whistles in Super Mario 3 (my favorite Super Mario game) so I always love anything Mario. To celebrate his 30th birthday the boys made me a stand up Mario character with Perler beads!

There are SO many designs you can find online, the boys found this one and then we couldn’t find the original source, but feel free to browse Pinterest or google images for inspiration. You can also search for pixelated art to come up with the same sort of patterns.
Create your character and melt together using the Perler Bead kit of your choice and their instructions.
If you want your character to stand make 2 stands similar to this. If you have a larger character you’ll need longer stands.
Now you’re ready to play!
This is a really fun way to create favorite scenes or make additions to playsets you already have, or just to make a decoration for a friend.
