Yep, I am so going there. Fart, toot, cut the cheese, pass gas, breaking wind, flatulence, whatever you want to call it I have yet to meet a boy who doesn’t think it’s funny. Living in a house with 3 boys you quickly learn to find the humor in bodily functions. If you want to be the life of a boy party teach them this fun “trick”. My brother (ok maybe me too) did this when we were younger and the boys learned at a friends’ house from a neighbor.

Take a bendy straw (preferably one you won’t be using again) and stick one end in your mouth and the other in your armpit. Blow.

If you’re REALLY good like my little one you’ll move your bottom in tune to your noises. Makes me laugh every time.

Probably not a good idea to show them this before they understand appropriateness or timing, but I’ll leave that up to you. Go ahead be the life of the (boy) party!

  1. This is fantastic!!! My brothers and I loved making fart noises when we were growing up, we challenged each other to see who could make a sound that was most like my dad's rooty toots (gross, I know). I'm sure little boys will love this but tonight I am taking straws to family dinner for the big boys too 🙂

  2. WOW! How have I never seen your website before?! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Thanks for the great ideas. We have been cracking up all morning (no pun intended!) with the “straw farts”! I love when my boys can be boys without getting into trouble! You have new faithful followers in us!! Kari

    • Lol! So glad you found us! Yes the straw fart noise is still frequently used in our home as well. Nothing like a good fart noise to get the boys laughing 😉

  3. we found a fart gun at goodwill. makes a different fart sound with each pull of the trigger.
We’ve had it for three months now, play with it everyday and the grandkids haven’t used it yet!
