Here’s a simple origami skull that doesn’t take much origami skill to create. You just need a square piece of paper (we used a 6″x6″ origami square).
Fold it into a triangle
Unfold and fold into a triangle the other way.
Open up, place in front of you like a diamond and fold one of the corners into the center.
Do the same to the other side.
Fold the top point down. This creates the top of the head so you can play with how far down you like to fold it.
Now you’re going to fold the bottom up, down and up again. Like this.
You can play where this fold goes too.
Now turn it over
Fold the bottom up leaving a bit of space for the teeth underneath your previous fold. So you’re not folding flush against the bottom.
Now fold it down.
Keep folding it up/down/up/down until there isn’t any paper left.
Now you can draw the eyes, nose and teeth if you wish!
Play with the sizes and where you make the top or bottom folds to get different looks!
