LEGO + CARDBOARD

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. Please see policies for more information.

I’m not sure if it’s the mixture of materials or the mixture of different types of creativity but I love the mixture of plastic and cardboard! I’ve pulled together some ideas of ways you can mix the two and increase the playtime of both materials!

  1. All for the Boys Spy Headquarters
  2. iKat Bag Treehouse
  3. Picklebums Box Town
  4. Green Acres Haunted House
  5. Crystal’s Tiny Treasures Canoe
  6. Frugal Fun 4 Boys Cardboard Fort

And one of my recent favorites is this simple castle from Macarenabilbao

  1. This is so great!! I grew up with 3 sisters and 1 brother, but my brother was 10 years younger than me, and for all of his young days I was in school, and then when he was 10 I got married. Now I have two boys that are 3 1/2 and 18mos., and I am struggling with ways to keep them busy and happy, especially during the long winter days, or rainy days when they can't go out. Your website looks exactly like what I need! My older boy has really gotten into legos right now, but he's just too young for the big lego city building, plus his baby brother would just destroy them. 🙂 These cardboard ideas are AWESOME!!! Thank you, thank you for making this blog!
