Just like a snowflake, but a spiderweb! We saw some of these hung up on the Haunted Holiday Mansion at Disneyland one year and knew we wanted to make some when we got home!
How to cut a Paper Spider Web
All you’ll need is paper and some scissors!
Start with a regular 8.5″x11″ sheet of paper.
Fold in half (fold up so we’re keeping our paper facing the same way the whole time).
The boys like to make a small crease in half width-wise to help them with the next fold (this isn’t necessary but may help until you get used to folding them!)
Fold up like the photo using the center crease as a guide for the bottom.
Cut across the top evening out the paper.
Fold in half width wise keeping all the open ends to the right.
Cut across the top in a slight moon shape.
Continue cutting like the photo, just make sure not to go all the way across.
You can hang several around the house or string across the mantle for a fun Halloween decoration you can play with.
