With my boys anything they are allowed to touch and move around is a plus. They have never been fans of things that sit on the shelf just to look pretty.
This interactive snowscape is good looking but something they can play with and set up differently every day!
Start with a large jar and add some sugar.
We made a snowman from air dry clay but you can use any sort of dough along with anything you can find around the house.
Once the snowman was ready we added it to the snowscape and covered it with “snow”.
Then added some trees.
Now you can change up the scene whenever you want! Some ideas are:
- Gingerbread house/village
- LEGO scene
- car/city scene
- toy snowball fight
- sugar cube igloo
- iced ice cream cone Christmas tree

This is such a fun idea. My kids would love this, and I love how you could do this even as a regular winter scene, not just christmas. Thanks for sharing!
I think salt would work better since it wouldn't leave little hands sticky. Epson salts or salts for swimming pools is cheap. But great idea!
Thanks @Haley!
@anika you're right salt would work great as well! I just try to use things I have around my house regularly but salt would have been perfect!
